Gwen Terpstra, operating Terpstra Design out of
San Francisco's mission district, has cultivated a unique,
award-winning, music oriented graphic design business. Gwen has a taste
for putting visuals to musical ideas in both the music educational
print publishing industry and in her work designing CD recording
packages for classical, jazz, world and experimental music labels and
artists locally and internationally.

music publication area, Gwen has created highly original looks and
award winning work with The FJH Music Company, Inc.,
a distinguished publisher of music educational print products. Her
music publication design (book covers, sheet music and inside
illustrations) have won numerous awards in the music publishing
industry, with FJH sheet music covers and artwork form the successful
piano method "Piano Adventures," by
Randall and Nancy Faber, appearing in Print's National Design Awards

Having an
educational background in fine art, Gwen continues working in other
forms. She has shown fine art in the San Francisco Art Institute Cafe Gallery, S.F., Somarts Gallery, S.F., and Michael Martin Gallery, S.F.
